Gemwise — Privacy Policy

Last updated: 17 August 2026

Gemwise does not collect, store off your device, or share any personal data. There are no ads, no accounts, no analytics, and no trackers. The game works fully offline. Everything you do stays on your device.

Who we are

Gemwise ("the app", "we") is a match-3 puzzle game published by Tomer Finkel. This policy explains how the app handles information.

Information we collect

None that leaves your device. The app has no user accounts and does not ask for your name, email, location, contacts, photos, or any other personal information.

The app saves your game data on your device only — your level progress, coins, lives, daily streak, achievements, purchased items, and settings. This data is stored in the app's private storage using Android's DataStore. It is never transmitted to us or to any third party, and we cannot see it.

Permissions

The app requests a single permission:

The app does not request the Internet permission and does not connect to the network.

Ads, analytics, and third parties

Children's privacy

Gemwise is family-friendly and suitable for children. Because the app collects no personal information from anyone — including children — it does not knowingly collect data from children under 13 (or the equivalent age in your region). This approach is consistent with the U.S. Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA) and the EU GDPR "child" provisions (GDPR-K).
